DIN SPEC 15240 - Guideline for the energetic inspection of air conditioning and ventilation systems
24.04.2019 In March 2019 DIN SPEC 15240 "Energy performance of buildings - Ventilation for buildings - Inspection of air-conditioning systems"" was newly published. It replaces DIN SPEC 15240:2013-10.
VDMA Air Filter Information 2018 now also available in English
03.04.2019 Since July 2018, the new air filter standard DIN EN ISO 16890 "Air filters for general ventilation" has been in force, replacing DIN EN 779. The current VDMA brochure "Air Filter Information (2018-06)" offers manufacturers, dealers and operators valuable assistance for the transition and is now available in English.
ebm-papst strengthens US business with second location
23.05.2019 ebm-papst is strengthening its business in North America with a second production site. In Johnson City, Tennessee, the world market leader for fans and motors will manufacture fans for refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation applications. ebm-papst will move into an existing production building in Johnson City and start serial production in September 2019.
Expansion of the filter business: TROX takes over Czech KS Klima-Service a.s.
21.05.2019 Effective May 31, 2019, TROX GmbH will acquire one hundred percent of the Czech market leader for air filters, KS Klima-Service a.s., with economic effect. To this end, a share purchase agreement was signed on 14 May 2019.
